Car Seal Valve Maintenance is now in the VR Hub
Improper valve operation is one of the fastest paths to a serious incident in industrial process environments. It's also one of the hardest things to train on safely at scale. So we built a VR version.
Car Seal Valve Maintenance is now live in the VR Hub library. Car seals keep critical valves locked in their intended position (Car Seal Open or Car Seal Closed), and getting them wrong can shut down a plant or worse. In the module, workers step onto a virtual process floor and practice the full procedure end to end.
What the module covers
- Identifying car seal designations (CSO / CSC) and verifying valve statuses
- Following proper Management of Change (MOC) procedures
- Applying Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) before working on a sealed valve
- Removing, inspecting, and reapplying seals correctly
The point isn't just knowing the checklist. It's building the muscle memory of doing it the same way every time, under time pressure, without shortcuts. That's what VR is good at.
